Butcher Bravo is a direct-to-door prepared pork business operating in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. We operate online at butcher-bravo.ca and deliver within the Kitchener–Waterloo–Cambridge region.

What Information We Collect
When You Place an Order
To fulfil your delivery, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Delivery address (street, unit, city, postal code)
- Delivery notes you choose to provide (e.g. buzzer codes, parking instructions)
- Your order details (items, quantities, estimated price)
We do not collect payment card numbers or banking information. All payments are made at the door — in cash, by tap, or via e-transfer — at the time of delivery.
When You Sign Up for Our Email List
If you subscribe to our weekly menu updates, we collect your email address only. Subscribing is entirely optional and separate from placing an order.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, standard web server logs may record your IP address and browser type. Our website uses WordPress and WooCommerce, which may set functional cookies (e.g. session cookies) necessary for the site to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when you visit our site, which may include your IP address. This is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Email Communications (CASL)
If you subscribed to our email list, you gave express consent to receive our weekly menu updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@butcher-bravo.ca with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.
Order-related emails (e.g. order confirmation, weight/price summary, delivery coordination) are transactional and will be sent regardless of your subscription status.
Data Retention
- Order data is retained for a minimum of 7 years to meet Canadian tax and business record requirements.
- Email subscribers are kept on our list until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time.
Your Rights Under PIPEDA
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent for uses where consent is the legal basis (e.g. email marketing)
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. Order and subscriber data is stored in a password-protected database accessed only by Butcher Bravo staff.
